Videovolumes: Solid condition of aggregation of video

Videovolumes deal with the temporal dimensions of video- and filmmaterial as well as its mani-festation and isolation as volumetric, solid object in space.

By stringing together single frames of a film sequence in space a cuboid is created whose length stands for the temporal length of the according film sequence. The visual impression of the surface of the cuboid is a result of the average colour information of the single frames.
